The Universe has a way of giving back what you put out. So be mindful of your thoughts and actions.
The BOOMERANG Effect
Call it Karma, call it reaping what you sow or call it the law of attraction. They all mean the same thing depending on your belief system, but they all hold truth. I like to call it The Boomerang Effect. Whatever you throw out into the Universe eventually comes back and smacks you on the butt like a Boomerang. Okay...the word "smacks" may be a little harsh and carry a negative connotation, but I guess it depends what you are putting out and receiving back. If it's anger, you may indeed be lashed with a a smack, but if it is kindness you may be met with more of a tickle or cuddle.
Life operates like an echo. The energy you give out will eventually return to you. The kindness you give will be reciprocated. The qualities you observe in others are a reflection of yourself. If you doubt this concept, put it to the test. If you desire more compassion from others, start by showing more compassion yourself. If you wish to encounter less road rage from drivers, practice driving with patience and understanding, allowing other vehicles to merge. I experimented with this approach in the past, particularly with taxi drivers. Their aggressive behaviour used to provoke me, causing frustration and expletives. However, once I shifted my mindset, practiced patience, and let go of their actions, I experienced a more peaceful car ride. By responding with kindness, understanding and patience, I noticed a change in their behaviour towards me. They began to show me the same courtesy. This reinforced the idea that what you project into the world is often what you receive in return. While I still face moments of irritation, I now pause, take a deep breath, and remind myself of this principle of reciprocity.
Have you ever observed the success of individuals who are always willing to recognize and celebrate the achievements of others without envy? Have you ever observed that those who are generous tend to receive in return? Have you ever noticed that individuals who harbour bitterness often struggle to overcome challenging situations?
Have you heard the phrase, "Be the change you wish to see in the world?"
Well, I'm suggesting, be the change you wish to see in YOUR world. What do you desire to have more of in your life? Then go ahead and make it happen, cupcake!
Do not judge, so you will not be judged.
Radiate and give love, so that love comes back to you.
Give out more compliments in order to receive them.
Offer smiles in order to receive more in return.
If you want to be respected, show respect to others.
It's truly that straightforward.
Remember to always keep a mental image of that Boomerang, and picture how you want it landing on your derriere before you act or respond.
